Mark and Stephen Hoffman lead our firm and between them have decades of front-line experience in industry across a vast range of sectors. They bring a business perspective into the world of accountancy and take the intellectual rigour and process focus of accountancy into the businesses they work with.

Mark Hoffman qualified as a chartered accountant in 2001. He worked in industry for five years as company accountant and then financial director of a nationwide manufacturing company.

While retaining this position, in 2007 he joined the accountancy practice as a partner, specialising in corporate advice and taxation.

Mark also has a degree in History from the University of Leeds and still enjoys reading about history especially regarding places he has visited. In his spare time, he likes to cycle, play squash and visit modern art galleries. He is also a keen sports fan and particularly enjoys watching football, boxing, rugby and tennis.

Stephen Hoffman has been a qualified accountant for many years. After qualification, he went into industry and after working for a UK Plc, joined a multi-national company as company accountant.

He then became financial director of a manufacturing company in Manchester, as well as a partner in a Manchester firm of Chartered Accountants where he remained until 2005. He has vast experience in business and up until 2005 held an insolvency licence.
